When

DreamCatching is an activity that can be used to spend some time reflecting on dreams. The invitation is to pay attention to the lucid or dreams captured just upon waking. Consider translating dream imagery as a method to understand inner knowings and deeper truths.

Why

Paying attention to and honoring one's dream life is a method of appreciating the complex body-psyche ways of knowing. Dreams carry wisdom and guidance for the soul's journey. The images from dreams can be deep and supportive of the body and psyche, as well as to some, provide support and direction.

What

Explore the personal and archetypal aspects of dream images.

Keep a notebook and write down dreams and imagery that comes to you.

Consider translating those images to a piece of art.

Artist and expressive arts facilitator Jen Raynes kept dreaming about a lion until she painted the lion image included in this website.
