The Disastershock Global Response Team is an all-volunteer team of about 40 persons from 15 different countries. Our mission is to provide free stress-reduction materials to children, families and persons affected by disasters. Our members spend 1-2 hours a week helping to distribute materials like Disastershock: How to Cope with the Emotional Stress of a Major Disaster to affected communities; helping develop healing resouces on our disastershock.com website; helping develop our Facebook site; or participating in research on ways to effectively cope with disasters.
We welcome new volunteers! Please feel free to contact Brian (gerrardb@usfca.edu) or Sue (drsueshaffer@gmail.com) to learn more.
